Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

Lune is a period tracker made by Tugane. This page explains what happens to your information.

The short version

We do not collect your logs. Lune has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. What you log stays on your phone. The only thing the app contacts a server for is to check for app updates.

What Lune stores on your phone

This information is stored only on your phone. We cannot see it.

Reminders and widgets

Reminders and widgets are created by your phone from the information on it. Nothing is sent to us to make them work. If discreet mode is on, they do not use the word "period".

Optional backup

If you turn on backup, Lune saves one file with your logs in your own cloud storage:

The file goes straight from your phone to your cloud account. We never receive it and cannot read it. Apple or Google handle it under their own privacy policies. You can turn backup off, and delete the copy, in Settings.

App updates

When you open Lune it checks with Expo (our update provider) whether a new version of the app is available, and downloads it if so. This request contains the app version, your phone's platform and your internet address (IP address), as any internet request does. It never contains your logs or settings. Expo handles it under its own privacy policy.

Lune also checks lune.tugane.com/api/config to learn whether a minimum version is required. This request contains only the app version and your IP address. No logs or personal data are sent.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your information, show ads, build a profile of you, or track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all data erases everything Lune holds on your phone. If you used backup, choose to delete the cloud copy at the same time. Uninstalling the app also removes the data from your phone.

Children

Lune is not designed for children under 13.

Medical disclaimer

Lune gives estimates from the dates you log. It is not medical advice and is not a method of contraception.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
